Lansdowne Attraction :-

Lansdowne has few attractions to boast of, and one of these is 'Tip-in-Top Point'. About four kilometres uphill from the main town market, you shall also pass Lansdowne's two churches - St Joseph and St. Mary's - on your way to this point. A pretty building, St. Mary's Church was built in the earlier half of the nineteenth century. There is a nice view of the surrounding hills from near this Church too. 600 metres from here is Tip-in-Top Point, and the govt. tourist guest house is built right next to it, where you can enjoy a meal and tea. The views from Tip-in-Top point are expansive, and if you go early in the morning, the mountains are covered in a sea of clouds.

Tarakeshwar Mahadev temple:
Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a siddh peeth , dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is 38kms from Lansdowne. The place is 1&1/2 hours from Lansdowne. It is situated in a half moon shaped valley, filled with deodars ( no deodars in surrounding areas except in this valley) & rhodendrons enroute. You will not believe it till you see it. A very quiet & serene place.. associated with many legends. Just sit n relax, hear the music of the wind passing through the tall trees and see the birds chirping happily. You will be greeted by the sight of blooming rhodendrons, if you go in the blooming season.

Bhulla Tal Lake:
A lake with boats and lots of swans makes it a brilliant view. With all the green around makes an awesome place to enjoy the nature. Has a super clean cafe for Maggi,Tea and Egg Chowmien which makes a perfect tourist place

Darwan Singh Museum:
A great place for getting a glimpse of glorious history of garhwal regiment. Detailed history, soldier's uniform, crosses n medals which adorned the soldiers at one point of time are tastefully displayed. Amazing place for kids n adults alike who are interested in war history.

Bhim Pakora:
Bhim Pakora is located in Dhura, about 2 km away from the Gandhi Chowk. It is believed that during the period of exile, the Pandavas stopped here and cooked food at this location. It is also believed that Bhim placed one rock on top of the other and is so well balanced that it never topples. This rock can be moved by tourists with just one finger, but it never falls down. If you have running out of time, you can skip this location.
